Hey! Do you want to sing at the
UTAH FLASH GAME
Monday, December 1st?
The Riverton Children’s Choir has been invited to sing the national anthem at the Utah Flash season opener! The “glitch” is that they only need 30 members, so we are inviting members 10 years and older to sing (by December 31st) . Those children will receive FREE tickets to the game. All other members of concert choir and prep choir are invited to the game, as well as their families and friends, for only $4.00 per ticket. To get this price all tickets must be pre-ordered by November 10th.
We do not have rehearsal on Monday, December 1st, and performers would need to wear their choir robes. Jeans and t-shirts are OK underneath for this performance since you will remove the robe and go watch the game with your families. Performers would need to be at UVU by 6pm and the game starts at 7pm. Parents are responsible for transportation.
If we do not get enough older children to sing we will invite some nine-year-olds, so please indicate on your order form if your nine-year-old is interested in singing. We wish everyone could sing, but hopefully everyone will get an opportunity as they get older. We will rehearse the national anthem each week from 5:00-5:10.
Please return this form with a check by November 10th or email us at rivertonchildrenschoir@juno.com if you would like tickets. We will hand out tickets on Monday, November 24th, at the CD recording (12120 South 1300 West, LDS Church, 4-6pm). The Utah Flash is the feeder team for the Utah Jazz and they are family oriented, with activities for young children.
